Chennai Kalaignar Memorial International Marathon aims to improve the mental and physical health of runners by enhancing physical fitness and helping people affected by Covid-19. It’s an online race which allows participants from all over globe can take part from your backyard, home or treadmill.
The 2020 edition saw 8,541 runners took part in the marathon from 28 nations of the World and diverse States of India. Erode Runners Club was founded by Dr.Madhushankar, Dr.Krishnamoorthy, and Dr.Arunandhi Cherlvan in October 2016. The Goal is to encourage people from Erode to take up endurance sports, specifically Marathon.
