The RunDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend is an annual race which is being held in Walt Disney Resort, Florida. The race, which inaugurated in 2022, is a new race weekend event organized by runDisney – a division of Disney Sports Enterprises- and will feature a new surprise theme every year.
The race weekend offers an entire gamut of races which appeal not only to a beginner but also a seasoned marathoner and everyone in between. The main races include a 5k, a 10k and a 10miler along with Yoga. Additionally, the Organizers offer the Springtime Surprise Challenge
Not only do runners find multitude of Disney Characters, Live bands, DJs, dancers & lots of other live entertainment along the race course, but at the finish line, they are awarded a unique Disney finisher medal.

Important Points
- Entry fees for runDisney events are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Participants can connect to their online Disney account during registration
- Multiple registrations can be done at same time. Editing of information after registration to correct any mistakes is also allowed.
- Multiple payment options cannot be used together for payment.
- In case of race being sold out, runners can visit the charity or travel company options available to check if there are any bibs available
- Water and other refreshments available at aid stations throughout the course
- Medical and washroom facilities would also be available on the route/course as well at start point/ finish line of race
- Start group time placements are available for 10miler race on submission of earlier live event on a USATF certified course. For the 10Miler proof of time, results are accepted from a 10km, 15km, Half Marathon or Full Marathon
- Time limits applicable for all the races. Runners/ walkers are expected to have a minimum pace of 16min/mile
- Participants must have a valid ID in order to pick up the race bib (driver’s license, passport, military ID or government-issued ID). Participants may not pick up another adult participant’s race bib. Parents or legal guardians must complete the race waiver for minors in order to pick up their race bibs.
